Will I have to pay Taxes or Duties?

Any deliveries within New Zealand will not incur any duties or taxes, however for orders being shipped outside of New Zealand, please note that Superette will not be held responsible for any customs or duties charges that may be incurred on delivery into customs. Superette has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country and Superette recommends that you contact your local customs office for further information.

Any and all applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. The law requires Superette to state the full value of your order on the package, and this will then usually determine the applicable fees.

To comply with New Zealand export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable 'merchandise'. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a 'gift', even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

If you refuse a shipment due to the cost of customs duties and taxes, this amount will be deducted from your return upon arrival back to New Zealand. Any return shipping costs incurred will also be deducted.
